Hallo,
I'm new to the forum and my question today is:
When I make payments to auction site, would the check be cashed outside of the state?
The reason for my question is:
A dealer, I used to trust v.much told me he won a bid for a car in Chattanooga,TN.
He demanded advance payment which I fulfilled with cashiers check
(the name of the site is mentioned on the check).
When I traced the check later on, found out it was cashed out not in Chattanooga,TN but in GA.
So I wonder if this is normal, I mean is cashing out check else where than intended destination a common practise in the industry?
