Though a real old post from PSU I thought it might be a good idea to update the status on B-A.

http://www.powersellersunite.com/about11059.html

Note post #5 & #10 by MO, fromer MOD of B-A.

Last mention was around Nov 2007.

http://www.powersellersunite.com/about1 ... sc-30.html

Hopefully someone can update TAB about B-A.

Hello elgato,

Maybe some suggestions are in order about active auction sites like AtomicMall.com or Etsy.com.  Some sites that members would want to talk about  :D .  This would help the site admin.  The sources here are from sites there in action in 2003.  We could throw up some suggests.  I am sure if the owners know there is discussion here, they would participate.

The site is a virtual ghost town now. Few items. I found 3. But didn't look all that hard.

The 'new" owner, Russ, still has it, unable to sell it evidently. and no SEO to speak of.

added... did another look at the headings of:

All Items: 18
Auctions: 17
Instant Purchase: 1
buy Now: 17 (same 17 in auctions)
barter: 0

There are a few items in the old site. But not many.

Yeah, I think this thread needs to be moved from BZ to Other. Sorry if my delay in posting my addition may have hindered... I thought I has submitted it.

Thanks for the suggestions and welcome.

I have updated this section with more current auction sites and hopefully this will stimulate conversation. I've been putting a lot of time into the site and have built it from scratch in less that 2 weeks. Any other tips or advice would be appreciated as well.

Thanks for helping spread the word...

Bid-alot needs to be moved out of Bonanzle tho...

then you have some more updating to do. ... and more sites to add.

When I orignially posted this info it WAS under the B-A Index
I used B-A many years ago, then it sold and IMHO was not all that friendly to U.S. sellers.
I left it behind as I have so many other alternative online selling venues.
MO knew a lot more about B-A than most and she was able to keep us updated at PSU. After a while, as mentioned here, B-A basically died out.

IMHO I think it could or should be moved to the index HERE at TAB to "other online auction sites" and more than likely will die out, just as the site itself did.
The only reason I posted the OP was to see if anyone knew if the site was still around and active.

Well, its still around if you want to say that a 6 year old auction site that went from well over 10,000 items to less then 1000 as being still around.  Russ thought that he would put his items up be "the" seller. And no one flocked to buy his meditation cds and juicers.

But, it should be easier to move the thread to another forum.
