Purchased an old catalog on Ebay, penciled on the top corner

So, I bought this old catalog/magazine dating from early 1900's.  In pencil on the top right corner of the cover it states "Research Library."  Did I receive stolen goods...?  This seller sells a lot of old books.  So, what would you do....enjoy the book/catalog, or investigate further.

Might be stolen, might have been discarded by the library.  Was there any indication of what library?  Could have been a catalog stored in a research library of a business (temped at one such place) that no longer needed it, or went out of business and had their inventory sold.  If you can identify where it came from originally you could try to trace and contact them.
